The NeXus system is also very suitable for physical exercises. Both research and exercises can be made simultaneously from the same recording. For a weightlifter; The Surface EMG electrodes can be placed left or right side (arm, chest, legs..) The muscle activity then comes to NeXus10 and then this data can either be stored in SD card or directly transferred to a computer via Bluetooth. The data coming to computer is then processed live with state of the art BioTrace+ Software. The live input data is then processed to an output data, and we call that output "FEEDBACK". Feedback can either be visual, audio or both. The feedback can warn the athlete about which side is working more or which muscle is under heavy duty and which is not. This makes the athlete aware about his own body and muscles. So he can adjust the power. With a similar method, the weightlifter can learn his performance statistics like optimum and maximum times of lifting.
If system is being used for research, NeXus is again the best choice as it records the raw data without making any changes it transfers and stores the data on the computer. Then this data can be processed many many times with different filters and processes. The data can also be exported to 3rd party software like MatLab and other data processing software.
